Most Android tablet launches aren’t very exciting, and it looks like LG’s latest G Pad II announcement is no exception. The new 10.1-inch variant of the G Pad II will be fully unveiled at IFA in Berlin next month, but for now we have a few images and a bunch of specifications.

The most interesting aspect of the G Pad II is LG’s choice of a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 SoC to power the device. The Snapdragon 800 is over two years old now, having been superseded by the Snapdragon 801, 805 and now 810 in recent times. However, the 2.2 GHz quad-core Krait 400 CPU and Adreno 330 GPU should still be fast enough for this mid-range tablet.

The G Pad II 10.1-inch variant comes with a 1920 x 1200 LCD display, as well as 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, expandable through a microSD card slot. There’s a five-megapixel camera on the back, a two-megapixel sensor on the front, and support for both Wi-Fi ac and Category 4 LTE (depending on the model).

LG has also loaded up the G Pad II with a decently-sized 7,400 mAh (~28 Wh) battery, while the device will ship with the latest version of Android 5.1.1 on board.

The 10.1-inch LG G Pad II will be available in Europe and Korea following its IFA launch next month, before becoming available in North America at a later date. Pricing has yet to be announced.

It is nice to hear the LG is running after the technology now a days coz as far as I remember I bought an LG mobile phone with my pager and that kind of mobile phone is like a flip phone just like Motorola but with style and fashionable look best for ladies.

Now LG cope up and strategize with the latest technology of smart phone, I just wonder what would be the most brilliant technology that LG can have and known to be that LGs is the first one to develop.
