iPad Document Scanner

iPad Docu Scanner

iPad Document Scanner

The iPad is a tablet that has achieved its fair share of accolades, and you can basically find an app that does just about anything you want to with a tablet on it. Well, peripherals for the iPad have not been entirely the most interesting market to look at, as majority of the peripherals rolled out for it tend to be protective cases and covers, including those that come with a built-in keyboard so that you have a pseudo-Ultrabook of sorts on the go. Well, the $149.95 iPad Document Scanner is certainly something else altogether.

In a nutshell, the iPad Document Scanner functions as a device that is capable of scanning documents straight to an iPad. This scanner will be able to feed pictures as well as documents automatically, up to 8 1/2″ x 14″ in size, before converting them to the JPEG file format, where they are subsequently stored on a docked iPad. This does away with the need to scan documents to a computer before they are transferred over to an iPad, as the device will save the scanned images straight to the iPad’s camera roll. The scanning progress will be shown in real time on the iPad, and you will be able to enjoy images which have been scanned at 300 dpi resolution, paving the way for you to carry preserved documents in their digital formats in clear, full-color glory. Whenever your iPad is docked, the scanner will take this opportunity to juice itself up as well.

Numark announces Mixtrack Quad four-channel DJ controller

Numark announces Mixtrack Quad four-channel DJ controller

Numark, at a music trade show with a new another DJ controller for your consideration. This time it has taken its popular Mixtrack console, and doubled down on the number of channels on offer. This now means between the Mixtrack, the Mixtrack II, the Mixtrack Pro II, and this, there’s likely a Mixtrack for everyone. Evidently it’s a format that works, so it only makes sense to offer a number of options based around the theme. As with other members of the Mixtrack family, the layout is fairly traditional, with two platters plus transport controls flanking a central mixer section. Above each platter is a set of eight MPC-style trigger pads and some rotary controls for FX and filters. If the Quad looks like it’s got an extra splash of color compared to its siblings, that’s because it has. The pads and platters have have configurable RGB LEDs, which we first saw in the NS7 II (Numark is going strong on the colors generally, it seems). Again, as before there’s a built-in audio interface, which is pretty much essential for a controller of this level. And what level is that? Around the $349 one, apparently, whenever it comes to market (no word on that at this point). While you’re waiting to find out, however, you might as well scoot over the fold for the hardware impressions.

GIGs 2 GO

Rip it, Write it, Share it: Compact Tear + Share Flash Drives
Sharing files and other information will get much simpler once Kurt Rampton and BOLTgroup‘s inventive tear-and-share USB flash drives make their way into pockets and purses everywhere.

The GIGS.2.GO concept includes four small USB flash drives attached via perforated cardboard. When you need to pass some files along, you just snap one off, record your data and hand it over.

The conceptual product isn’t made of just any cardboard, however. It is meant to be produced with molded 100 percent post-consumer paper pulp, making it planet-friendly as well as user-friendly. The unique material means you can even write directly onto each USB flash drive.

The GIGS.2.GO is roughly the size of a credit card, making it easy to fit into a wallet or pocket. Which is quite handy since you never know when you’ll need to snap one off and share some files with a buddy.

gigs to go

This could be pretty exciting, coz you can easily share an empty usb storage to your friends and family also a very convenient way of having GIGs2Go where ever you go..
