ASUS Launches X99 Motherboards in the Philippines
Unleash the power of the Intel X99 chipset with ASUS motherboards equipped with the patent-pending OC Socket and exclusive 5-Way Optimization technology
Manila, Philippines (6th November, 2014) — ASUS, the top motherboard manufacturer in the world, today launched their X99 motherboards at the Oakwood Premiere, Pasig City. Based on the Intel® X99 chipset, the X99-Deluxe, X99-A, and the ROG Rampage V Extreme motherboards are packed with exclusive technologies, including OC Socket and 5-Way Optimization, to ensure ultimate performance from the latest LGA 2011-v3 Intel Core™ i7 processors.
All ASUS X99 motherboards are equipped with a brand-new ASUS invention — the patent-pending OC Socket. This unique socket includes extra pins that connect proprietary circuitry to extra contacts found on Haswell-E’s land grid array (LGA), and is 100% compatible with Intel’s new LGA 2011-v3 (‘Haswell-E’) processors. In combination with the ASUS UEFI BIOS, OC Socket enables higher DDR4 memory frequencies, lower latencies and enhanced stability while overclocking, extending all the way to extreme overclocking conditions, such as Liquid Nitrogen (LN2).Users are also able to increase DDR4 memory frequencies to 3200MHz and beyond, even with all eight DIMM slots populated.
The X99 Series
The X99-Deluxe is the flagship model, with a bundled ASUS Hyper M.2 x4 expansion card for ultra-fast 32Gbit/s transfer speeds; onboard 3×3 (3T3R) 802.11ac for ultra-fast Wi-Fi speeds of up to 1,300Mbit/s; and an ASUS Fan Extension Card for flexible additional cooling. With a cool, streamlined outlook that includes a broad, striking-white shield, the X99-Deluxe evokes a futuristic style and strong performance demanded by PC enthusiasts.
All new X99 Series motherboards also feature Crystal Sound 2 for flawless audio; Turbo LAN technology for lag-free online gaming and productivity; and our renowned UEFI BIOS for intuitive setup and control.
The ROG Rampage V Extreme
The ROG Rampage V Extreme is the ultimate X99 motherboard for overclocking and gaming. It supports quad-channel DDR4 memory and is equipped with multiple exclusive technologies to aid extreme overclockers, including the patent-pending OC Socket, OC Panel, Safe Boot and ReTry buttons. Thanks to its ultimate overclocking design and features, ROG team has broken 28 records with Rampage V Extreme.
Rampage V Extreme keeps its cool with the ASUS 5-Way Optimization, Extreme Engine Digi+ IV voltage-regulator module (VRM), DirectCU direct-contact cooling, X-Socket II and Fan Xpert 3 technologies, along with numerous intelligent onboard sensors. ROG’s new X99 motherboard takes the latest connectivity features to extremes, with dual 10Gbit/s SATA Express ports, a built-in 32Gbit/s PCI Express 3.0 x4 M.2 slot and 802.11ac Wi-Fi with a three-transmit, three-receive (3×3) antenna configuration.
Rampage V Extreme also includes multiple technologies to deliver best gaming experiences. SupremeFX 2014 ensures flawless audio, Intel Gigabit Ethernet and GameFirst III combine forces for no-lag networking, and KeyBot grants gamers an instant keyboard upgrade. Exclusive Gamer’s Guardian components provide multiple real-world protections for users.
